Domenico 1987 model

Soil → Groundwater → Well Transfer

Analytical modeling of pollutant transfer from a source in the soil to the groundwater, then to a drinking water intake. 24 pollutants, 24 soil types, Cc(x) attenuation curve.

International availability — the automatic retrieval of geological and piezometric data (BRGM, Hub'Eau) covers France. For a project located in another country, these parameters must be entered manually by the user; the automation of this retrieval by country is under development.

Features

From source to tap

24 parameterized pollutants

CVOC, BTEX, PAH, PFAS, metals — Kd, half-life, solubility and log Koc properties built in.

24 soil types

Sands, silts, clays, limestone, granite… with K, porosity, exchange capacity, organic fraction.

Cc(x) attenuation curve

Graphical plot of downgradient concentration, calculation of the DAF (Dilution-Attenuation Factor).

Hydraulic gradient

Input of the gradient i and Darcy velocity, calculation of the actual transfer velocity.

Built-in PDF editor

Direct customization of the report: titles, comments, added illustrations.

Automatic conceptual model

Stylized geological cross-section generated from the entered parameters, included in the PDF.
